Emerald surrounded by tiny diamonds are set in 14 karat gold in this exquisite claddagh pendant made and hallmarked in Ireland. This pendant is a version of the claddagh ring which features two hands (which represent friendship) clasping a heart (love) surmounted by a crown (loyalty.) Traditionally, the claddagh symbol is given in friendship or love with words: "With my two hands I give you my heart and crown it with my love." As with all true Irish claddagh jewelry, this pendant bears a hall mark by the Irish Assay Master that verifies its Irish authenticity.

Original Pen and Ink Political Cartoon by Award-winner Chip Beck

Mr. Beck has lived, worked, fought and traveled in 65 countries and 13 war zones as a soldier, sailor, combat artist and cartoonist. His first comic strip was 'Supercrat, the Super Bureaucrat', which appeared as a full page feature in State Magazine since 1979. In 1991, he was recalled to active duty as the Navy's official Combat Artist in Desert Storm. He has penned editorial cartoons for the Northern Virginia Sun, Sun Gazette, Georgetown Courier and National Forum. He drew 'Kilroy is Back' with columnist Jack Anderson from 1991. He makes a cartoon feature for APB News.com focusing on police humor, called 'Kiljoy'.

He has won medals at the Mòd Nàiseanta Rìoghail (the Royal National Mod) in Scotland and at the US  Mòd. The winner will choose between 4 hours of private instruction (at a mutually convenient time) or 10 group lessons (commencing on Saturday November 18th, 1-3 PM, with classes continuing on Saturdays as determined by the class. He was formerly on the music faculty of Pacific Lutheran University and taught music courses as a guest lecturer at the American College in Paris.  Mr. Lackey garners international acclaim for his appearances both on the solo recital stage and as a concert soloist with symphony orchestras.
